That one is getting harder these days. It is cool that metal is gaining more popularity in the USA, but I hope we do not have a repeat on the "Glam Metal/Rock days. Did you mean Mainstream in Finland "only" or in general? Right now, I am big into Sirenia, Sonata Arctica, Iron Savior, Helloween, Gamma ray, Dragonland and a host of others. It would help to know what generes of metal you like. BTW, welcome to my board. I have not been around much the past year but i have more time to post now. LET'S TALK METAL!! I have been listening to: Sonata Arctica Helloween Iron Savior They're among my top favorite bands. But I'm ashamed to say I haven't listened to Sirenia, Gamma ray, and Dragonland. I'm going to check them out this week and see what I have been missing. Thanks for the help. \m/ |

Of those bands you are going to check out, Sirenia is accually Gothic metal and not power metal . You can see their videos on youtube. If you need any links, let me know |
